Quality Door Service was created in 1981 By Robert Case. He began his journey in the automatic door industry in 1964, working for Stanley Magic Door as a serviceman. In 1980, Stanley decided that there was not enough growth potential for the Oregon territory and closed their operations based out of Portland. They offered a position anywhere in the country that he wanted. Out of his love for the Portland area, he declined, and Quality Door Service was born.
Robert brought that same dedication to quality and customer service that his clients had grown accustomed to, to Quality Door Service. During that first decade Robert’s two sons joined the business, learning the trade. In 1991 after 10 years of successful business, Stanley Access Technologies approached Robert with a Distributorship proposal. Within the first year, Quality Door Service gave Stanley Access Technologies the largest percentage increase in sales for a territory in their history. Since the beginning, we have seen consistent growth while maintaining the "family feel" environment. Today, Robert’s sons manage all operations of the company and maintain the same principles that the company was founded on: quality, customer service and dedication.
